Abandoned Projects: Ike Ekweremmadu a Serial Liar -AWGU EMANCIPATION MOVEMENTAND TRANSPARENCY INITIATIVE.

AWGU EMANCIPATION MOVEMENT AND TRANSPARENCY INITIATIVE :

RE: ALLEGED ABANDONED PROJECTS   By SEN. IKE  EKWEREMADU :

With reference to your press statement shared on social media through your special assistant on projects ENGR JONATHAN IVOKE and reported by your media aid  UCHE ANICHUKWU; where you plausibly refuted the alleged abandoned constituency projects in AWGU Local Government Area under the district in which you are representing.

In the first place, I want to debunk the CAPTION of your press statement;
" NO CONSTITUENCY PROJECTS ABANDONED IN ENUGU WEST". Which is a clear  evidence of your schematic tendency as it simply implies that all the projects have been completed.

In your first paragraph, you proclaimed your assurance that NO CONSTITUENCY PROJECTS WOULD BE ABANDONED in Enugu West Senatorial District; which means that all the projects have not been completed but abandoned.

Moreover , the media reports on abandoned and unexecuted projects in your constituency was never a purport. It has been toured and confirmed the cosmetic state of the projects.

If we are made to believe that Enugu West remains the flagship in the implementation of constituency projects in the country, that means NIGERIA is perpetually doomed beyond rejuvenation.

Furthermore, your challenge for a tour of the constituency and other projects is a welcome idea and we hereby make an impassioned plea to the broadcasters and publishers of the national dailies, DEVELOPMENT FOR SOCIAL RIGHTS INITIATIVE, COMMUNITY CONSTITUENCY PROJECTS TRACKING COMMITTEE , RADIO STATIONS, and other agencies concerned; to come to our aid and ensure that the tour is carried out appropriately.

It is a service to humanity. A virtue that everyone desires, wishes and acclaims to possess.

Let us always be objective and judicious when we adjudicate over issues of this kind.

You said that the Road Project in Mgbowo can easily be confirmed by anyone from Mgbowo because you are quite sure that it was actually completed. That I know and cannot dispute it but it was poorly constructed with substandard materials.

A newly constructed road less than one year old is on the verge of a deplorable state. Even though the said 2.4km Road is not more than 1.5km.

What about those other projects?
Can't it be easily confirmed by people from those communities?

I must state categorically that the status of those projects you sighted is "ABANDONED "

You keep telling us ongoing, ongoing.
What is ongoing when nothing is going on.

Do not deceive the good people of AWGU.
We are not talking about Ezeagu now, We are not talking about UDI now,
We are not talking about OJI RIVER now, We are talking about our own "AWGU "

What have you actually done for NDI AWGU?
You have given us the impression to believe that you actually hated NDI AWGU with passion.

You hated us so much that a centre meant for youths development in AWGU was diverted for a trivial needs of AWGU people.

If it were to be sited at MPU, it would remain for its primary purpose .

Sir, with due respect, you have given us every reason to believe that you are a "SERIAL LIAR "

Ogwuma Rural Road  blah blah blah -ongoing.
Umuhu, Owelli erosion control blah blah blah-ongoing.
The Amara, Ituku erosion blah blah blah-ongoing.
Ogboli Awgu earth works/ drainage blah blah blah-ongoing.

Are you telling us that those projects are actually ongoing?

You don't have to deceive our people. None of these sighted projects is ongoing. Except I do not understand your own meaning of ongoing, as a LINGO peculiar to you and your team.

The National Youth Development Centre was originally meant to be a training centre for the youths but it was allegedly sold to "NOUN" National Open University of Nigeria which I believe it's a private institution.

Why was the youth development centre handed over / allegedly sold to the National Open University of Nigeria?

Which means you don't want AWGU YOUTHS to harness their potentials .

Below are some of the abandoned projects in AWGU LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA:

MGBOWO EARTH DAM.
This project is as old as Senator IKE EKWEREMADU's first tenure in the senate. It has been abandoned for many years now close to two decades. It was gathered that a DAM was constructed in your area immediately it was awarded and funded without delay. Leaving behind MGBOWO earth DAM that was awarded and funded many years ago.

If the allegations of the said constructed DAM in your area is true,
WON'T YOU ALSO  BE ACCUSED OF ETHNOCENTRIC INSENSITIVITY?

WHAT ABOUT
Agulese Ugwueme, Nenwe Nta, Eziobu, Amajirija, Amaeta Amaokwe AWGU, Mgbidi link road?
They were completely abandoned.

Majority of the road was renamed and re-awarded and re-funded still yet, it was abandoned.

Sir, THERE IS A SYNTHESIS OF THE ANTITHESIS FOR THE THESIS .

Meanwhile, Thank You Very Much For your statement of fact as quoted;
"TRACKING OF CONSTITUENCY PROJECTS IS A VERY POSITIVE DEVELOPMENT "

We know where to make enquiries and can never subscribe to wrong impression.

We have been making enquiries from reliable sources and can never be circumscribed, but circumspect to circumnavigate.

LET US CALL A SPADE A SPADE.
